Excellent A-Level Results
All full-time A-level students have achieved a 100% pass rate with an average of 88% A* – B grades over the past 10 years. Students are taught very much by traditional methods, in small groups, concentrating on the skills needed to pass examinations and to be successful at university. View A-Level results. School.
Enrichment Programme
Our enrichment programme enables students to benefit from a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment programme, outside of their academic programme. These include our Music Club, Film & Photography Club, College Magazine, Student Council, Cultural Trip and Team Maths Challenge. School.
Personal Mentors
At Albemarle each student has a personal tutor who will monitor their progress and help them to meet targets for work submission. They’ll also provide advice on study skills and career choices. School.
Accommodation
Albemarle works with a number of partner organisations who offer student accommodation in a safe, secure environment. Whilst the college itself is not directly connected to any of these companies, we do visit the accommodation to ensure that it is up to the standard that we would expect before putting them on our list of recommended places to stay. Careers Advice
All of our students plan to go on to study at a reputable university and we provide specialist advice on choosing a suitable degree course and university; our Economics and Management and Medical Sciences programmes are two examples. Many students find choosing the right course a daunting task so an important part of our job is to equip students with the tools they need to make that choice. Many of our alumni visit to offer advice to current students and provide an insight into their experience of university life. School.
